Lynn Anne and I joined Crozet United Methodist Church in 2019. After a career that has taken our family to seven different states and the opportunity to also live and work in London, we decided to settle in Virginia to be near our three daughters and their families, who all by the grace of God are very close to us. Always excited to be out in God’s creation, we love living in Crozet near the mountains, Shenandoah National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail.
What most excites you about your ministry & the contribution you can make?
As we emerge from a very trying and difficult past two years due to the pandemic, I am excited about being engaged in the next steps in the life of our family of faith at CUMC. Connecting our members, future members and even those in the community at large to our existing and newly developed small groups is a focus of mine. There are already so many wonderful small group opportunities within our church but it is also exciting to see the new ideas being generated and launched.
What are you passionate about?
I love being part of a team of multiple talents that is excited about their work, mission and accomplishing their goals. I have seen and experienced this at CUMC where we can use all of our God-given talents to follow the mission of our church to Love, Grow and Go.
What do you like most about Crozet UMC?
I love the fact that our church sits right in the heart of our Crozet community, knowing we have so much to offer to everyone from a spiritual growth standpoint and also service opportunities for the community and the world.
