At Crozet UMC, we value families and seek to provide opportunities to grow, serve and celebrate. Throughout the year, we focus on opportunities that enable families to love and grow in GOD through our worship as well as through our Adult, Youth, and Children’s music programs. We focus our year on opportunities to serve together through events supporting organizations such as Operation Christmas Child, Rise Against Hunger, Charlottesville’s homeless shelter program, Crozet UMC’s Grace Grocery, and our Vacation Bible Camp.

Are you hungry? If you could join friends for great company, great food, and great conversation, would you be interested? It’s not difficult to do. On the third Tuesday of each month (at 12:00), join seniors from Crozet United Methodist Church for a culinary road trip that attendees describe as a “great time with friendly people over a great meal.”

MOLOs – Mothers of Little Ones at Crozet UMC
MOLOs – Mothers of Little Ones (elementary school-aged children and younger) is a diverse group of caring moms who support, laugh and learn with each another. Meeting on the 2nd Sunday of the month, MOLOs get together over a meal for mutual support, learning, and growing in our faith. We also partner with organizations inside and outside Crozet UMC to make a difference in the world and Crozet. It is a great time you won’t want to miss. Come check us out. We would love to meet you!

Do you enjoy books? The CUMC book club is open to all who enjoy reading and discussing a variety of books. The books we read come from many different genres including biographies, nonfiction, contemporary and historical fiction and often are available through the public library. All have topics or themes which we hope will provoke contemplation and discussion that helps with our faith journeys. We meet once a month, typically the fourth Tuesday, for an evening meal at a local restaurant. Come join us!

STUDYING THE SCRIPTURES
Interested in deepening your knowledge of the Bible? Want to grow your faith? At Crozet UMC, we offer many ways to explore the gift of scripture and grow in faith. Throughout the year, you can choose from multiple studies for both men and women to connect with others and GOD:
Thursdays at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Join Pastor Sarah in a continuing study of the scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation. For more information, contact the Church Office.
Sundays at 8:30 am in the Kent Building, Level 1, Room 1 (on Zoom during the pandemic). All women are welcome, no matter if you are new to Christianity or have been a Christian for years. Using a topical format, Women of Faith values a discussion-based and contemplative approach to learning. For more information, contact Claire.
Thursdays, at 7:00 am at the Whistle Stop Grill. Men, stop by for coffee or breakfast with a topical study as we learn how we can live out the truths of Scripture in our daily lives. Contact Steve for more information.
Dudes, Drinks and Discipleship: Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Crozet’s Smoked Kitchen & Tap in Piedmont Place. Guys, D3 is the place for men to gather and support each other in an informal setting. With an accompanying on line study, D3 is the place for fellowship. For more information, contact Doug.
Throughout the year, Crozet UMC also offers topical studies to grow our understanding and knowledge. December brings us a four-week Christmas / Advent study while spring calls us to a short-term Lenten / Easter study. No matter who you are or what your age, Crozet UMC has a class for you.
